Another stop on the journey, a bit of a change after Russia. A month in China starting in Beijing and then working my way down to Yangshou. A very different but equally amazing place to travel! The most challenging place I have travelled but well worth it. From busy, smoggy cities to rural, breathtaking national parks, from eating amazing local cuisine to roadside scorpions! China has something for everyone! |

Here's me reviewing "The Messenger"--the free magazine from China Radio International (formerly known as Radio Beijing.) This free magazine gets better and better every year. It comes out bimonthly--not quarterly, as I said in the video--and is glossy, in colour, and has high production values. Assorted articles to interest everybody, like news and sports, arts and travel, history and culture. This magazine always has very nice photography . Pretty pictures everywhere. Something for everybody. The whole family can enjoy it. Nice for kids school project materials. To get a copy, simply email China Radio International here: crieng@cri.com.cn ..... |

This was fun. Somehow if we could have had a few more minutes taking photos at the begining. I know I captured as much as I could, but I rushed it and probably was the only one who caught more then one or two friends on the rickshaws. The riders were well prepared to take the photos of the guests and that was much appreciated. Can you imagine a day where all the rickshaws are in service and the streets are one full flowing motion of nothing but tourists on them. There are lots of these guys waiting for you to travel in style. A definite must do in Beijing, there's even a nice little market in the middle, let me know if you stopped there, we were too rushed to drop by there. Don't forget this is still our first day of touring Beijing - man it was a busy day. Sinorama 21 day tour of China |
